These Terms & Conditions govern your use of rankequine.com and your communications with Rank Equine, a d/b/a of Rankin Industries, LLC (“Rank Equine,” “we,” “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms.
1. Website information
Descriptions of training, lessons, boarding, breeding and horses for sale are for general information and may change. Prices, availability and programs are confirmed only in writing. The free Barrel Horse Tune-Up Checklist and other educational content are general guidance, not a substitute for hands-on evaluation by a qualified trainer or veterinarian. Use them at your own risk.
2. Services require a written agreement
A website inquiry, call or booking does not create a contract. Training, lessons, boarding and breeding services begin only after both parties sign Rank Equine’s written agreement and liability release, which will control over anything on this website.
3. Horse health requirements
Every horse coming to the ranch must have a current negative Coggins (EIA) test and meet our vaccination requirements. Horses entering Texas from another state must also have a valid certificate of veterinary inspection (CVI), as required by the Texas Animal Health Commission.
4. Equine activity warning
WARNING: UNDER TEXAS LAW (CHAPTER 87, CIVIL PRACTICE AND REMEDIES CODE), AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL IS NOT LIABLE FOR AN INJURY TO OR THE DEATH OF A PARTICIPANT IN EQUINE ACTIVITIES RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISKS OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES.
Riding, handling and being around horses carries inherent risk. The ranch is private property, and visits are by appointment only.
5. Horse sales
Unless a specific written guarantee is provided, all horses are sold “as-is, where-is.” Buyers are responsible for arranging a pre-purchase exam (PPE) before the sale. We provide a current Coggins and health certificate (CVI) for transport, and all health risks transfer to the buyer at the time of sale. Listings, videos and descriptions are offered in good faith and are not warranties.
6. No guarantee of results
We work hard for every horse and rider, but results in the arena are not guaranteed. Success depends on many factors, including the horse’s genetics, soundness and prior handling, and the rider’s skill. Training and tune-ups are provided on a best-effort basis.
7. Text message (SMS) terms
Program: Rank Equine text messages from Rank Equine, a d/b/a of Rankin Industries, LLC.
What you’ll receive: if you opt in to non-marketing messages, texts about your training, lesson or boarding inquiry, scheduling, and resources you requested. If you separately opt in to marketing messages, you may also receive clinic dates, training openings and special offers.
Frequency and cost: message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out and help: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, and you’ll get one confirmation text. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at 817-600-3575 or Lexi@RankEquine.com.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy; we do not share mobile information with third parties for marketing purposes.
8. Intellectual property
The Rank Equine name and logo, and the photos, videos and text on this site, belong to Rank Equine or are used with permission. Don’t copy or reuse them without our written consent.
9. Third-party links and tools
The site includes links and embedded tools from others (for example YouTube, our booking calendar, and incentive programs such as Pink Buckle). We are not responsible for their content or practices.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Rank Equine is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or its content. The site is provided “as is.” Nothing in these terms limits protections that Texas law provides to equine professionals.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Jack County, Texas, unless a signed agreement between us says otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed.
