This Privacy Policy explains how Rank Equine, a d/b/a of Rankin Industries, LLC (“Rank Equine,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and protects information when you visit rankequine.com, fill out a form, book a call, or text or email us. By using the site you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: name, email address and phone number, for example when you request the 7-Day Barrel Horse Tune-Up Checklist or book a call.
- Horse and riding details: information you choose to share about your horse (age, history, registration, soundness, goals) or your riding experience when you ask about training, lessons, boarding, breeding or a horse for sale.
- Messages: what you send us by text, email, phone or form.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and referring site. This is collected by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and by privacy-focused website analytics to keep the site secure and understand which pages are useful.
- Embedded tools: our booking calendar and some embedded videos (YouTube) are provided by third parties, who may set their own cookies when you use them.
We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers through this website.
2. How we use your information
- To send the resources you request, such as the tune-up checklist.
- To answer your questions and schedule calls, visits, lessons, training, boarding or breeding services.
- To send text messages and emails you have agreed to receive (see Section 4).
- To run and secure the website, prevent spam and abuse, and meet legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- Customer relationship and messaging platform (LeadConnector / GoHighLevel) to store contact records and send emails and text messages;
- Website hosting and security (Cloudflare);
- Scheduling through our booking calendar provider.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people, horses or property.
4. Text messaging (SMS) privacy
If you check a consent box on our forms or otherwise opt in, we may send you text messages about your inquiry, the resources you requested, scheduling, and (only if you separately opt in) promotions such as clinic dates and training openings. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties, except the messaging provider that delivers our texts.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You can also contact us using the details below.
5. Email
If you request the checklist or contact us, we may email you about your request and, occasionally, about clinics and training openings. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
6. How long we keep information
We keep contact and inquiry records for as long as needed to serve you and run the business, and as required for tax, legal or insurance purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 8).
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices
- Opt out of texts by replying STOP, and out of emails with the unsubscribe link.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing Lexi@RankEquine.com or calling 817-600-3575.
9. Children
We work with young riders, but always through their parents or guardians. This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If a child under 18 wants lessons, a parent or guardian should contact us. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to other sites
Our site links to other websites (for example YouTube, Facebook and incentive programs). Their privacy practices are their own.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
